ZARDOZ

ZARDOZ naît en région parisienne et se passionne très tôt pour la création fantastique et surréaliste. Il étudie la photographie et l'histoire de l'art à Paris, avant de devenir décorateur d'intérieur. Il devient par la suite artiste à temps plein et se replonge dans la photographie en réalisant divers documentaires consacrés à la Nature. Il continue parallèlement à dessiner ses étranges visions fantasmagoriques et cauchemardesques, mêlant des éléments organiques et mécaniques. L'artiste signe des œuvres mutantes, à la frontière des deux mondes. Cette nouvelle forme d'art s'inspire notamment des univers formels d'Hans Ruedi Giger, Dado2, Gustave Moreau, Hector Guimard et Hans Bellmer3.

ZARDOZ was born in the Paris region and became fascinated with fantasy and surrealist creations at an early age. He studied photography and art history in Paris, before becoming an interior decorator. He then became a full-time artist and returned to photography by making various documentaries about nature. At the same time, he continues to draw his strange phantasmagorical and nightmarish visions, mixing organic and mechanical elements. The artist signs mutant works, at the border of the two worlds. This new art form is inspired by the formal worlds of Hans Ruedi Giger, Dado2, Gustave Moreau, Hector Guimard and Hans Bellmer3.
